Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the article2pdf website and service (the "Service") operated by Posterior Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
article2pdf converts publicly accessible X.com (formerly Twitter) article links into formatted PDF documents. The Service is operated by Posterior Technologies Private Limited. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@article2pdf.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to convert content you do not have permission to reproduce.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, daily quotas, or paywalls through automated requests, credential sharing, or any other means.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Service's underlying infrastructure, APIs, or generated output at scale.
- Upload, submit, or otherwise introduce malicious code, spam, or abusive content.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law, including copyright law, data protection law, or the terms of service of X.com.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute PDFs generated by the Service without our prior written consent.
5. Content and intellectual property
5.1 Third-party content
The Service processes article content sourced from X.com. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to reproduce any content you convert. We do not host or permanently store article text — PDFs are generated on demand and cached temporarily for performance.
5.2 Our intellectual property
All software, design, and branding belonging to Posterior Technologies Private Limited are our exclusive property. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use our trademarks, trade names, or logos.
5.3 Feedback
If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
6. Plans and billing
Certain features are available only on paid plans (Creator, Pro). Billing is handled by Paddle and is subject to Paddle's terms. All prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes where required by law.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Plan changes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date.
- Free tier. The free tier is provided at our discretion and its limits may change at any time with reasonable notice.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that date. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
To cancel your subscription, go to Account → Billing and follow the cancellation instructions. If you need assistance, contact support@article2pdf.com.
Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
Where applicable consumer protection laws provide a statutory right of withdrawal or refund, eligible customers may request a refund within 14 days of the initial transaction date.
To request a refund, contact support@article2pdf.com with the email address and purchase details associated with your order.
If a refund is issued, access to the service may be suspended or terminated.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that PDFs will be perfectly formatted for every article.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Posterior Technologies Private Limited and its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $10 USD.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Posterior Technologies Private Limited harmless from any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to any refund for the remaining portion of a paid billing period.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, where Posterior Technologies Private Limited is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or via a prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
